a lilbitty update...Hello all!
I have no time for a full update, I MUST get to bed, 'cause I have a long day tomorrow...
But I HAD to take a moment to thank all of you who who have shown me support over the past few days!!! Be it financial or through heartwarming comments and notes you have put a stupid cute smile on my face. I have been lifted and loved, and I am so very grateful.
You guys even helped pay my long overdue phonebill (*gasp* I'm current??), and bought me a new bottle of insulin!!!
I have been offered a few jobs as well! Re-touching galore! weeeefun!
I still have a long ass way to go...but you all have helped out greatly!
I wish my arms were long enough to hug ALL of you at once.
but a lame little emoticon will have to do for now.

Bitty is having issues, and I'm hoping some of you can help.
I have found myself in an insane amount of debt, due to daily medical costs (diabetes is a ridiculously expensive disease!!)...and now $8,000 in dental work. (past due)
My job at the salon is not even covering the basics these days (we're talking food and water...insulin is running me $100/bottle)...so I am going to have to go against doctor's orders and return to full-time work. The family is essentially skipping Christmas this year (which is fine by me...I LOVE the holidays, and shiney new toys...but who can afford it with the economy the way it is?!) OH, and my phonebill is 2 months past due. *meeps*
I'm not one to generally hop online with a little beggar cup...
but I will do so today with my head hung low.

It sucks to hear about the insulin cost... but last time I checked, insulin was $20/vial at Wal-Mart. I'm not sure if it is still that price, or if you can get your precription there or not. $100 is just rediculous to pay.

Aaaaand... once again I'm hapy not to live in the US but in good old Germany where the national health-insurance covers your insulin as well as your dental care. For everyone. Even when you're broke as me. Or even when you're as broke as you, which seems even more than me.
Though I can't come up with money myself (at least not until some certain customers have finally paid their overdue bills, that is. *grrrr*
It sucks for about all of us freelancers and self-employers, lately), I'll spread the word.
Heads up - and don't consider it BEGGING.
It's just asking for some help - and nearly everyone needs some, sometimes. That's no deal - everyone knows you're not sitting around idly. So you might as well ask unashamed. How else would you get help if noone knew?
